Why this page looks different

Most sites offering free betting tips claim a record. Very few show one. The difference is not cosmetic — it decides whether the numbers mean anything at all.

  • Timestamped before kickoff. A tip is published locked. There is no button to adjust the selection once the match has been played.
  • The losers stay up. The record above includes every losing tip. A record without losses is not a record.
  • Odds are fixed at publication. ROI is calculated on the odds that were actually available when the tip went out, not on the best price in hindsight.
  • Small samples are flagged. A tipster with four settled tips and a 100 percent strike rate is not ranked first. They are marked as building history.

How to read a betting tip

A tip has four parts. Understand all four and you can judge it yourself rather than following it blindly.

  • The fixture — which teams, which competition, and when it kicks off.
  • The market — what is actually being bet on. Over/Under is about the number of goals, not about who wins.
  • The selection— the specific side of that market, such as "Over 2.5 goals".
  • Odds and stake — the price at publication, and how many units the tipster staked. Two units means roughly twice the conviction of a one-unit tip.

A tip is a judgement, not a prediction. Even good tips lose often. It is the sum across many tips that shows whether the judgement was worth anything — which is why sample size gets so much weight here.

Yes. Every tip on this page is published as free by the tipster behind it. You pay nothing to see the fixture, market, selection and odds. Some tipsters also sell premium tips to subscribers — those are never shown here.

How do I know the record has not been cleaned up?

Every tip is locked with a timestamp the moment it is published, which is before kickoff, and cannot be edited or deleted afterwards. The record on this page is the sum of all settled free tips, including the ones that lost. Nothing is filtered out for going badly.

What is ROI, and why does it matter more than hit rate?

ROI is return on stake: profit divided by total units staked. Hit rate alone says little because it ignores odds. Winning 70 percent at odds of 1.20 loses money over time, while 40 percent at 3.50 is strongly profitable. ROI captures both.

How many tips are needed before the numbers mean anything?

Small samples are dominated by short-term luck. We flag tipsters without enough settled tips in a period and leave them out of the leaderboards. The thresholds are 10 settled tips over 30 days, 25 over 90 days and 50 all-time.

When are new tips published?

Throughout the day, as tipsters find bets they want to publish. The list on this page is sorted newest first and updates the moment a new tip goes out.

Do you offer sure wins or guaranteed predictions?

No, and any site promising them is lying to you. A prediction is a judgement about probability, not knowledge of the result. Our best-performing tipster wins roughly two bets in three — which is a strong record precisely because it is not three in three. What we do guarantee is that the record you see is complete, including every loss.

Is this soccer or American football?

Soccer. We use the word football the way most of the world does, so these tips cover the game played with a round ball — Premier League, Champions League, Eliteserien and the rest. American football is a separate sport on TipStaq and is listed under that name, never as football.
