Responsible gambling
Sports picks involve risk. No outcome is guaranteed and past performance does not predict future results. Betting should be entertainment you can afford — never a way to make money or recover losses. Only stake what you can afford to lose, and stop if it stops being fun.
We are not a bookmaker
TipStaq does not accept wagers, hold gambling funds or set odds. We are a pick-tracking and comparison platform. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use TipStaq, and any bet you place is with a licensed bookmaker of your own choosing. Read more on our about page.
Set your own limits
- Decide a monthly budget before you start, and stick to it.
- Set deposit, loss and time limits with your bookmaker — and lower them, never raise them mid-session.
- Never chase losses by increasing your stake size.
- Never bet with money meant for essentials, and never borrow to bet.
- Take regular breaks, and use the self-exclusion tools your bookmaker offers.
- Keep betting one part of your life — not the part everything else revolves around.
Warning signs of gambling harm
It may be time to take a break or seek help if you:
- bet more than you planned, or more often than you intended;
- chase losses, or bet to win back money you have lost;
- hide your betting from people close to you, or lie about it;
- feel anxious, irritable or restless when you are not betting;
- borrow money, sell things or miss bills to keep betting.
What we will not do
- We will never tell you a pick is “guaranteed”, “risk-free” or a “sure bet”.
- We always show a tipster’s settled sample size next to their ROI and win rate.
- We do not accept wagers or hold gambling funds.
- We do not target minors. TipStaq is strictly for adults of legal age.
