The definition
A verified tipster is one whose public record on TipStaq is built only from picks they published here — each one timestamped, with odds and market locked at publish time, and each result admin-approved before it counts.
What verification requires
Verification means all of the following hold:
- A public profile that anyone can view and link to.
- Picks published before the event starts, with locked timestamps.
- Results that are admin-approved, never silently edited.
- Metrics shown with sample size and time window.
- An audit trail retained for every settlement.
Why transparency matters
Anyone can claim a great record. Verification exists so you can compare tipsters on evidence you can inspect — settled-pick counts, ROI in context and recent form — before you decide to follow or subscribe.
Frequently asked questions
Is verified the same as profitable?
No. Verified means the record is transparent and admin-approved — not that future results are guaranteed. Always read ROI alongside its sample size.
Can I follow a tipster who is not yet verified?
You can follow public profiles, but only verified tipsters carry an admin-approved public record built from TipStaq picks.
